Dear Friends,

 

As Chairman of the Organizing Committee and on behalf of the HUNGARIAN ARCHERY ASSOCIATION, I am pleased to invite you to the HDH-IAA Indoor Hunting Archery European Championships 2012.
The Competition will take place 17–19th of February 2012 and will be shot according to the HDH-IAA rules and regulations. The competition and award ceremony is indoor in  the exhibition center Hungexpo hall B and F.
The event is open to all competitors.

The two-day event is being held on 17-19 February in HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center, in Building B and F; the opening ceremony, the competition and also the awarding ceremonies will take place there. FEHOVA (Fishing, Hunting and Arms International Exhibition) will also be held that time, with several interesting shows and programs and with approximately 10.000 visitors a day. The competition is opened to all, we welcome all archers who would like to participate in the competition.

One of the two first days (17-th or 18-th) of the competition a qualification field shall be completed by the competitors that will be built up with twenty one 3D targets of which 7 moving targets. With the hunting scenes set up in the hall the competitors can experience the excitement of both hunting and contesting. On the third day (19-th) the 12 best archers of each category will compete in the finals.

The HEACH , the Eleven Duel, the IFAA Hungarian Open and the Eleven 3D will be held simultaneously, (but with differed time schedules) everyone can attend all competitions if they want.

The registration fee for the competitors includes the entrance fee of the HUNGEXPO.

Qualification 21 targets (14 3D targets + 7 moving 3D targets)

In qualification round all competitors shoot from the same line regardless category in pair.

The detailed schedule will be published on webpage hdh-iaa from 10-th of February. There will be 3-4 targets shot from the same place a minimum of 4 identical arrows with names is a must. After completing the 21 targets the 12 first in each category goes to the finals.

In the finals the x-bow and compound bow shoots from red stick all the others from the shorter distance, blue stick. The maximum distance is 30 meters. In the finals there will be 6 moving targets and only the biggest marked zone is a hit. A miss ore a wound is resulting in the end of competition. The finalists shoot the targets in order and one by one. In case of a hit the finalists goes on the next target and is able to continue the competition. The last target is moving away after each successful shot. The competitors shoot on last target till the final ranking is achieved. The ranking is the reverse order of eliminations. The one who falls out first is the 12-th and so on.

Prizes:

The first 3 are awarded with  medals and diplomas. The winner gets also the trophy in each category.

Categories:

No age groups or genders are considered as separate category.

Recurve Hunter (RH)

Men: Any type of recurve bow with a minimum 40 pounds of draw weight, any type of arrow shaft. Screw in type of points only.
Ladies: Any type of recurve bow with a minimum 30 pounds of draw weight, any type of arrow shaft. Screw in type of points only.

 

Compound Hunter (CH)

Men: Any type of compound bow with a minimum 50 pounds of draw weight, any type of arrow shaft. Screw in type of points only.
Ladies: Any type of compound bow with a minimum 40 pounds of draw weight, any type of arrow shaft. Screw in type of points only.

 

Crossbow Hunter (CRBH)

Men: Any type of crossbow  that is available in commercial trade. Screw in type of points only.
Ladies: Any type of crossbow that is available in commercial trade. Screw in type of points only.

 

Traditional Hunter (TRH)

Any traditional (no window) type bow
Men: minimum 40 pounds of draw weight, wood or any type of arrow shaft with screw in type of points.
Ladies: minimum 30 pounds of draw weight, wood or any type of arrow shaft with screw in type of points.

 

Master Hunter (MH)

Targets of type A  are shot by compound bow or crossbow, targets of type B are shot by traditional bow  and targets of type C are shot by recurve bow. The rules for the bows used are described as above.

 

Rules:

Maximum range is 40 meters, moving targets maximum 30 meters. In qualification round scoring is: 10, 0, -5, points. 10 points is the largest scoring zone, miss is 0 and wound is -5 points.
In case of miss a second arrow can be shot the score in this case is maximum 5 points and in case of wound -5 points.
In the finals only the ten point hit is counted in other cases the competitor is eliminated.

Registration fee:

Registration fee is 60€.

Registration and payment before 5-th of February= 17 € discount, that means to pay is 43€.

The registration on site is preliminary till payment is received payment is indicated in the registration list. Payments received after 5-th of February are considered as on place registration.

Cancellation policy: Notification before 5-th of February 90% of received payment. After 5-th of February, no refund.
